25 students of Dr. BR Ambedkar National Institute of Technology, Jalandhar, bag package on Rs 25 lakh : The Tribune India

Students in the Department of Computer Science and Engineering at Dr. BR Ambedkar National Institute of Technology, Jalandhar, have received their record job offers from basic computer and engineering companies, as well as tech giants in emerging technologies such as artificial intelligence, machine learning and data science this year.

Divyansha Sharma received the highest package of Rs 62 lakh from Google while Archit Jindal received a package of Rs 51 lakh from Microsoft. Brahamleen Kaur got a bundle of Rs 49 lakh, Ritika Goyal got Rs 48 lakh from Google and Pulkit Sood got a bundle of Rs 45 lakh a year from Amazon.

Up to 25 students from the CSE department have received packages worth more than Rs 25 lakh per year. Prof. BK Kanaujia, Director, NIT, Jalandhar congratulated the winners for making the department and the institute proud.

The department was able to place all eligible students this year, with most students having multiple job offers with an unprecedented average package. “The recruitment process is going well across the country and with new highs in placement at NIT Jalandhar. This indicates the confidence of technology companies not only in the institute, but also in the students and their mentors,” Prof. Kanaujia said. He further added that placements have improved compared to previous years.

Moreover, the number of companies visiting the campus has also increased with big brands such as Google, Amazon, Microsoft, Deloitte, Goldman Sachs, Mphasis, Servicenow, etc. He also said that the institute is now focused on starting state of the art specialization courses in emerging areas of computing and engineering such as sensor networks and the Internet of Things. , data science and machine learning, big data and analytics. However, information security is already there as one of the specializations of the master’s program. “Few students got good placement as well as packages,” Professor Kanaujia said.
