“Prime Minister Naftali Bennett will make his first official visit to India on Saturday, April 2, 2022, at the invitation of Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi,” the Israeli prime minister’s adviser for foreign media said in a statement.

The two leaders had first met on the sidelines of the United Nations Climate Change Conference (COP26) in Glasgow last October when Mr Modi invited Mr Bennett to pay an official visit to India, reports the communicated.

“This visit will reaffirm the important bond between the countries and the leaders, and mark the 30th anniversary of the establishment of relations between Israel and India,” he added.

Informed sources said PTI that it will be a four-day visit from April 2 to April 5.

“The purpose of the visit is to advance and strengthen the strategic alliance between the countries and expand bilateral relations.
