Hyderabad: The annual 2-day entrepreneurship festival, “Ecficio”, is launched at the VNR Vignana Jyothi Institute of Engineering and Technology (VNRVJIET). India International Innovation and Invention Expo (INEX 2021) and Global Young Scientist Challenge (GYSC 2021) were also launched during the launch of the fourth hybrid edition of the Fest, “Ecficio 4.0H” with Dr Chakravarthula Kiran, Associate Professor-EIA and director -VJ Hub, as coordinator of the faculty.
A three-person Polish delegation led by Edyta Wołczyk, CEO of IBS Global, and a five-person Iranian delegation led by Iranian innovator Soroush Noroulvara, were among those attending the event. Edyta Wołczyk, Dr AS Rao (President-Indian Innovators Association) and Raman Teja Venigalla (CTO-IBS Global, Director of Technology-Indian Innovators Association) honored the event as the main guests at the launch of these three events.
Thanking VNRVJIET for hosting the event, Edyta Wołczyk said Indians work hard naturally and India has an environment conducive to innovation. She said that Indian startups that thrive in the global market need to be very attentive not only to legal and economic aspects, but also aspects of language, culture, customs, etiquette and societal norms. She said India is the 7th largest economy in the world and has the potential to grow, and encouraged students to regularly participate in innovation and trade fairs to broaden their learning horizons.
Dr AS Rao said that young people must shed the dead weight of their backs of fear of judgment and must develop intellectual curiosity and implement their innovative ideas in a systematic way in order to become entrepreneurs. He pointed out that IIT-Bombay start-ups have been appraised at an amount greater than the real estate value of IIT and encouraged students to come forward to create such appraisal with VNRVJIET startups, elucidating the innovation and incubation system of the Institute as its Former Director of Innovation, Incubation, Entrepreneurship and Globalization.
