Merck signs strategic agreement with GI Innovation to develop biomedicine

Merck announced that it has signed a memorandum of understanding with GI Innovation, a Korean bio-company, to continue R&D efforts on cancer treatments and life-saving drugs for allergic conditions.

Merck explained that the deal is part of Merck Life Science’s long-term plan to help pharmaceutical and biotech companies develop and manufacture drugs in a safe, efficient and cost-effective manner.
