Miami Dade College Partners with Management Leadership for Tomorrow’s Career Readiness Program

Miami, February 3, 2022 – Miami Dade College (MDC) has partnered with Managerial leadership for tomorrow (MLT) Career Readiness Program to provide MDC students with personalized guidance, effective tools and a powerful professional network to ensure highly competitive internships and early career opportunities in all sectors including consulting, technology and finance. The deadline to apply is February 15. Free for MDC students accepted into the program.

MLT is a national nonprofit organization that provides Black, Hispanic, and Native American talent with the coaching, playbook, and networks they need to excel in high-trajectory careers, provide economic mobility for their families, and become high-impact senior leaders equipped to advocate for vulnerable communities. MLT’s Rising Leaders – 8,000 and growing – are driving change in organizations and communities across the country and around the world.

Through the 18-month Career Development Program, a cohort of MDC students will explore their strengths, passions, and interests to prepare for and plan for successful careers in business and technology. The Career Prep program includes one-on-one and group career development coaching, exposure and access to over 60 prestigious employers, skills development seminars held virtually and nationwide, an alumni network of over of 8,000 professionals and individual coaching. The program is open to MDC students pursuing a bachelor’s degree.

Eligibility criteria:

  • College student earning a bachelor’s degree in December 2023, Spring 2024, or Summer 2024
  • U.S. citizen or permanent resident (including DACA participants)
  • African American, Hispanic or Native American.
