HE Minister of Culture and Sports HE Salah bin Ghanem bin Nasser al-Ali on Sunday reviewed the progress of the “Innovation Makers Oasis” at the Qatar Scientific Club (QSC).
The minister was briefed on the center, innovation incubator, technical design corner and digital workshops and laboratories, according to a statement. He was also briefed on the upcoming QSC library and all the electronic devices the club provides to innovators.
The Innovation Makers Oasis, a cutting-edge technological platform in the region, has been set up and under development since 2020 by the QSC with the support of the Ministry of Culture and Sports. It is to be launched this year and operate with the aim of keeping pace with technological development which depends on the techniques of the Fourth Industrial Revolution.
The “Innovation Makers Oasis” offers an efficient working environment that encourages innovators and entrepreneurs to continue to develop their project models up to the production stage while providing spaces for those with technical specialties. These include the fields of engineering design, digital manufacturing, modeling and electronics, computing, robotics, artificial intelligence, and production mechanics.
