Ujjain (Madhya Pradesh): A seminar was held on Devshilpi Vishwakarma Jayanti at the School of Engineering and Technology (SoET), Vikram University.
The event was chaired by Vice Chancellor Akhilesh Kumar Pandey. The special guest was the supervising professor Shailendra Kumar Sharma. SOET Director Dr Ganpat Ahirwar presented the event activity report.
In his speech, Pandey said that Devshilpi Vishwakarma made an unforgettable contribution to the development of Indian civilization and culture. Its contribution should be included in lessons at all levels. Pandey announced the launch of a new course in agricultural engineering at the university’s engineering institute. He also gave a message to the engineering professors to read them, teach them and improve them.
Pandey, Ahirwar and Sharma worshiped Lord Vishwakarma with all the machinery and laboratory equipment. Under agricultural engineering, 60 places will be offered. Its fees will be Rs 30,000 and an admission link will be launched shortly. Those who have applied to B Sc Agriculture in the past can also request a transfer to B Tech Agriculture at no additional cost.
Officers, teachers and employees of the institute were present at the event. In the end, Dr. Ganpat Ahirwar, director of the institute, concluded the event with a vote of thanks.
